ANN's BACKGROUND
Ann grew up in West Point, Georgia, then attended high school at Paideia School in Atlanta. Her skills and passion for art took her to Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design and Illustration.
A 10-year job as Creative Director at Batson-Cook Construction, where her father and grandfather spent their careers, grew her interest in construction while gaining experience in all aspects of Marketing and Environmental Design. A desire to transition into the Building Arts led her to pursue her Masters Degree online at SCAD, this time in Interior Design.
After working several years with a commercial architecture firm and a residential contractor, she now offers Interior Design services through ANN TANKERSLEY DESIGN. Her Interior Design practice continues to grow and diversify to include Furniture Design and Specialty Arts Installations.
